WELCOME TO EL-PARADISO HOME STAY, PERIYAR               I have travelled extensively in South India staying in a range of different accommodations from no star to 4 star. El Paradiso is by far the cleanest place I have stayed anywhere in India. The bathroom was spotless as well as the linen and towels. Babu offered a wonderful welcome to my companions and me. He is obviously aware of the needs of tourists. The food, prepared by the family was excellent and they accommodated the different needs of my party without any problem. One of my companions is from Kerela and he rated the food as good as his mother's home cooking! I have recommended this place to many others, including Indian friends who have subsequently stayed there with their family, who all rated the welcome and the food very highly. I will be returning next year. Liked — cleanliness and food Disliked — nothing Chandhu, Scotland   During our trip through India, we stayed at the homestay "El Paradiso" in tekkady/ Kerala. From the very first moment we felt really at home, after beeing welcomed very nicely and warmely. the rooms are very spacious and very clean and have a great terrace to sit and relax. the food in the small restaurant is locally prepared by the family and delicious. the service is amazing: We forgot our passport at the hotel and they brought us the passport to our next hotel, about 150 km away, to make sure we have all our documents and the answer to our question of "how much we should pay them for this service" was: this is Indian hospitality! definetely the place to stay!!!!!!
